      Sejak menjejakkan kaki ke alam "Institude Pengajian Tinggi"(IPT) ini,.saya mula berminat memanfaatkan masa yang terluang dengan berkongsi maklumat dengan menggunakan "BLOGGER"., Anda sudah mempunyai Blogger sendiri ?? Mesti ramai yang sudah tahu menggunakan "Laman Web" atau lebih dikenali sebagai "INTERNET",. Contoh laman web ialah seperti Google,Mozilla,Twitter dan yang paling "terkenal" pada era ini adalah "FACEBOOK". Itu semua adalah contoh-contoh laman web yang menjadi tumpuan manusia pada era ini., Tetapi adakah anda athu apa yang dimaksudkan dengan internet ??  Apakah yang dikatakan dengan "definisi" atau "makna"  internet ?? 

         Internet merupakan "NYAWA PERTAMA" kepada dunia ini., Tanpa Internet dunia tidak akan maju., Berikut adalah ulasan atau penerangan menarik yang tidak ingin anda lepaskan iaitu mengenai "pengertian internet"., Dalam kecanggihan teknologi terbaru masa ini, kebanyakan dari kita saling bergantung kapada internet. Baik untuk bisnes, pendidikan mahupun untuk kepentingan lain.

  Perkataan internet adalah berasal daripada perkataan "Interconnected-networking" yang bererti hubungan antara komputer yang membentuk suatu sistem jaringan yang melingkupi seluruh dunia,. Sambungan internet adalah melalui berbagai jalur telekomunikasi yang ada, misalnya saluran telefon, satelit, radio link dan sebagainya. Untuk mengatur seluruh jaringan internet di seluruh dunia perlulah menggunakan sebuah protokol yang dinamakan TCP/IP.

    "Transmission Control Protocol"(TCP) berfungsi untuk memastikan semua hubungan komputer dalam jaringan internet berjalan sebagaimana yang telah diprogramkan. Manakala "Internet Protocol" (IP) berfungsi untuk mentransfer data antara jaringan dari komputer lain dengan komputer yang lain., 
         Secara umumnya TCP/IP ini berfungsi untuk memilih jalur paling baik dalam tranmisi data. Bila suatu jalur dalam jaringan internet tidak dapat digunakan kerana mempunyai masalah, maka TCP/IP ini akan mengirimkan mesej-mesej pengiriman data. Bagi melakukan sambungan internet, pemakai harus melanggan atau mempunyai software ISP (Internet Service Provider) yang tertentu,.
     

   "Internet Service Provider" atau ISP juga dikenali sebagai penyedia layanan internet atau penyelenggaraan internet. Terdapat pelbagai ISP yang ada pada era globalisasi ini yang selalu dipilih oleh pengguna internet. Ketika internet sudah tersambung, maka pengguna boleh melakukan pelbagai perkara termasuklah berhubung dengan orang lain dari seluruh pelusuk dunia.

Ubuntu Linux iaitu pengeluar sistem operasi komputer dan sumber terbuka sudah mengeluarkan telefon pintar di bawah projek Ubuntu Edge. Canonical yang menyelia Ubuntu membangunkan versi baru sistem operasi sumber terbuka untuk skrin sentuh yang tidak kelihatan seperti sistem operasi telefon pintar yang lain beroperasi sebagai OS desktop penuh apabila disambungkan ke monitor, papan kekunci dan tetikus.
Syarikat itu mengambil contoh teknologi sama dalam industri kenderaan di mana jika sesuatu teknologi baru dalam kereta mahu diperkenalkan dan dikomersilkan, ia akan diuji dahulu dalam perlumbaan Formula 1. Sebab itu, projek Ubuntu Edge disasarkan untuk melakukan perkara sama dalam industri telefon mudah alih. Tujuannya adalah bagi membolehkan tawaran berskala rendah, platform yang berteknologi tinggi dan projek yang ditaja pelbagai pihak.

Telefon yang baru dicipta itu akan beroperasi mudah pada semua platform. Bermakna jika anda memasukkan telefon ini ke mana-mana monitor, ia akan menukarnya kepada desktop dan berkongsi fail dengan mudah.
Menurut kajian Ubuntu, saiz telefon yang bersesuaian adalah 4.5 inci dan skrinnya ditukar daripada gelas kepada kristal nilam yang tidak calar.
